What is SAP Integration Suite?

SAP Integration Suite is SAP's integration platform as a service (iPaaS), part of the SAP Business AI Platform (formerly SAP BTP). In one modern, scalable and secure offering it connects SAP and third-party applications, cloud and on-premise, through application integration, API management, B2B and B2G integration and event-driven architecture, with prebuilt content and AI-assisted capabilities that cut integration time, cost and risk. Integration is what lets AI, automation and analytics work, because none of them deliver value without connected data.

Good fit

Who it is for

  • Companies running several integration tools that create silos and slow change
  • Landscapes mixing SAP and non-SAP systems, cloud and on-premise
  • Businesses connecting customers, marketplaces, suppliers, banks and tax authorities
  • Teams preparing data and connectivity for AI agents
Think twice

Who it is not for

  • A single point-to-point file exchange that standard SAP functionality already covers
One platform

Every integration style, in one suite.

Instead of separate tools for each integration type, one platform handles application integration, APIs, B2B, B2G and events, whether you connect SAP to SAP, SAP to third-party or third-party to third-party.

Cloud integrationPrebuilt integration flows and adapters to integrate applications and automate processes across cloud and on-premise.
API managementOne central place to create, publish, secure, monitor and reuse APIs, and to expose processes and data as new digital services.
B2B and B2G integrationTrading partner and authority connectivity with digital document management for compliance, such as e-invoicing.
Event MeshEvent-driven, real-time communication at scale, so systems and agents react the moment a business event happens.
Integration AssessmentGuidance based on SAP Integration Solution Advisory Methodology to choose the right integration style and govern it.

Questions

SAP Integration Suite, answered.

What is SAP Integration Suite?
An integration platform as a service (iPaaS) on the SAP Business AI Platform that connects SAP and non-SAP applications, partners and authorities through prebuilt integrations, connectors, API management and event-driven integration, all in one offering.
Is SAP Integration Suite the same as SAP PI/PO?
No. SAP Process Integration and Process Orchestration are on-premise middleware. SAP Integration Suite is their cloud successor, with migration tooling to move existing interfaces and far more prebuilt content.
Does it only connect SAP systems?
No. It connects SAP to SAP, SAP to third-party and third-party to third-party systems, using more than 250 third-party connectors and open APIs.
How does it help with AI agents?
AI agents need real-time access to data across systems. The suite provides managed, secure APIs and an event mesh so real-time business events can trigger agents and coordinate work across SAP and non-SAP landscapes.
